On the morning of August 8, 2022, Jiangsu Yuan Hydrogen New Energy Technology Co., LTD., co-sponsored by Pan Asia Micro Penetration and 21 institutions and individuals, officially started the foundation work of the proton exchange membrane project.

Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) is the core component of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC), which plays a key role in battery performance. It not only acts as a barrier, but also acts as a proton conductor. Proton exchange membrane is widely used in the downstream, mainly used in chlor-alkali industry, fuel cells, electrolytic water hydrogen production and vanadium flow battery energy storage system. Proton exchange membrane as the core of the hydrogen fuel cell key basic material, the market mainly uses the United States GORE-SELECT® proton exchange membrane. As a close supporter of Gore, Fanya Microtec independently developed and mastered the core technology of ePTFE base membrane. Meanwhile, based on our years of experience in coating equipment manufacturing and technology application, our co-investment organization established Jiangsu Hydrogen New Energy Technology Co., LTD in January 2022, specializing in the research and development, production and sales of proton exchange membrane. Jiangsu Yuan Hydrogen New Energy Technology Co., LTD has successfully developed the first generation hydrogen proton exchange membrane. In the next step, the enterprise will form an industrialization scale as soon as possible, gradually enter the stage of stable operation and production, and strive to completely replace the relevant imported products through technological iteration and update.
